Need help organizing a party where you ideally will be having a blast with Truth or Dare? Easy! First, you will need

  • To find a undisturbed and cozy place to play – without hindrances
  • Stuff to eat! Nobody wants to play on an empty stomach
  • A place to sleep when you play late into the morning hours and just want a place to crash

Do you have free house?

If you can party in your own home without trouble that's perfect. To flee from nosy siblings and nagging parents:

Organize a friend’s home. Get access to a room on which you will not be disturbed. Throw your party!

Playing Truth or Dare does not require too much place. In fact, even a smaller cozier place like a small living room with a comfy coach and some music and snacks might be better than a cool clubroom with the lots and lots of space. But you will need your own room in which you will be undisturbed between yourself and with friends only.

Are your parents home?

Schedule the party for a weekend or evening where you have free house. Wait until everyone who might be annoying visit their friends.

Organize your event at a friend’s house who has free house or where you don’t mind his parents.

Parents don’t disturb as a rule, in general.

But who wants to play some crazy game (where you overstep your boundaries - by far - and do crazy stuff), when you have to hold back because your parents telling you what to do all the time?

With parents we mean everyone who could potentially disturb. This could be your siblings or an annoying neighbor: they might come by every time your friends are laughing hysterically at one of your crazy stunts! Stay away from them or have a secure place for fun times.

Great tip for playing Truth or Dare

Gameguide tip:

A basement or garage is excellent for this purpose. Do you have the place or possibilities to have a sleep over?

Clean up your basement, prepare mattresses and blankets and let everyone bring their sleeping bags! Make it a cozy sleeping place. Accommodate your guests in your room.

Organize beforehand where each person should sleep to avoid confusion later on. See if you can get a hold of the guest room.

If everything else fails, plan to move your party over to the apartment of your nearby friend and sleep there! Walking over to your friend with all your sleeping bags and the rest of your supplies might be quite some fun - if you do it playfully!

Do you have prepared enough party provisions?

Make a party piggy bank! Everyone throws in some small amount of money and then you all go shopping together. This can actually be a lot of fun!

Divide any cost of the shopping you do for the party. If a friend or your parents can help you out, you can do the shopping with a car. Everything will be much easier and more convenient.

Start your party by cooking together. Preparing snacks together, decorating the whole table and setting up the food and the refreshments together is fun! The preparations won’t be a chore but a nice warm up for the party.

Provisions are not only chips and sweets but also a proper dinner or perhaps only some fast pizza. They also mean other party games you might be playing. Ask everyone to bring their own favorite games with them. You will have the full choice of games to play. When nobody knows what to do, you know which game to play, right? Provisions might also mean to buy some alcoholic beverages...
