Playing Truth or Dare on a Boat

The funniest truth or dare game I ever played was down at the marina one day when I was in high school. Several other girls and I went to visit a classmate whose family was living on a boat that year.
We were hanging around chatting and eating and the hours flew by until it got very late and someone decided to start our favorite party game. We all knew each other very well so most of us opted to tell the truth no matter how sensitive the questions became.
The exception was one girl who had recently moved to the area and seemed a bit shy overall. We asked her if she was a virgin and I guess she didn’t want to talk about it so she took a dare. We told her she’d have to stay in the cabin by herself for a half hour starting at 2:00 a.m.
She looked at us with relief because that didn’t sound so bad. Little did she know what was in store. It was an old boat and there was probably a lot of vegetation piling up on the bottom. Anyway, it seemed to be a salad bar for fish that always woke us up at night battering the boat starting in the wee hours for their after-hours dining.
It was no big deal if you knew it was coming, but it sounded really creepy if you did not have a clue what was going on. Not surprisingly, the girl let out a yelp as soon as the boat got rammed. We took pity on her and opened the door after a few minutes to reassure her that it was just harmless small fish.
After all, the movie Jaws was out the summer before so it would have been too cruel to let the dare go on too long.
